We arrived at our hotel in Lexington, NC on Friday afternoon and walked over to the vineyard (Childress Vineyards) next door for a tour and tasting. Yes, we took our kids to a vineyard. Redneck, right? But seriously, Landon was attentive and really into the wine-making process. When it comes down to it...it's just science. He comes by it honestly.
Landon came home and told Daddy that he went to a vineyard and saw where they make wine into grapes (almost got it) and put them in barrels. It's a really nice winery (with good wine, might I add) and not too far away. Another Mommy/Daddy day out?
