Urban Geocaching

Urban geocaching is tough because people are always around, so you have to be stealth. (We snapped this picture super-quick!)

See this bronze guy? He had a cache hidden under his right foot. And as soon as we grabbed the cache, we took off running from him because there were people around...and I took his hand directly to my forehead. I'm always good for a laugh.

Olympic Park was the start of 2 multicaches that we completed (a multicache is a series of caches that build on each other to take you to the final cache). This one started at the Quilt of Nations where we had to count the number of flags on the arbor and add that to a number given to us to find the 2nd location, which ended up being an old church turned theatre. We had to take the street number of the theatre and add to a number given to us to find the 3rd location and final cache. This was the most awesome cache we have ever seen. It was a box attached to a light pole, complete with a padlock and wires running down from the box into the ground. It looked very legit. Christopher had the genius idea (after quite a while of searching) to put the street number from the 2nd location into the padlock combo..and IT OPENED! We also completed a multicache that consisted of a series of 6 locations all over Olympic Park.
